Halo Movie Rumors

Halo Movie is an upcoming film based on the video game series Halo, developed by Bungie Studios.

The Halo movie is to be directed by Neill Blomkamp and executively produced by Peter Jackson. The Halo Movie had a target release date of summer 2008, however production was halted due to financing problems in October 2006.

Halo Movie is now due for release in 2012.

It is rumoured that the movie will be entirely in first person view as if the audience is the master chief.

The movie is said to be an exact replica of the first games story.

Actor Kurt Russell has been approached to play the role of Master Chief in the new Halo Movie.

George Lucas has expressed his interest in the film as well.

The film will not be animated.

Why Halo Movie will Succeed

Recently the new Dragon Ball movie came out which wasn't exactly a top notch film. You are probably thinking the worst for Halo Movie and that it will end up being a B grade film with little or no plot and character development and a tone of nobody actors playing all the roles. Well... let me assure you that this is not the case. Halo Movie is heading down the path of the same league as the Xmen movies. Halo Movie will not be a B grade film. The producers are committed to making this epic a spectacular action film and have confirmed talks with major stars to take on some of the roles. Halo is such an epic game that it truly deserves everything to be thrown at it when it comes to producing the new movie.

With these comments in mind, we are very hopeful of the development of the Halo Movie and hope that it does in fact live up to these expectations.
